Shoulder

February 2, 2018 - News Post

I primarily work on PC, but I still need to do the occasional development work on a Mac.

When I ran into issues with my Mac earlier this week, my parents were kind enough to let me remote into their machine. I monopolized their computer for hours, but I was able to finish my work.

Today’s glimpse into our conversations is my way of thanking them.

Like last Tuesday’s comic, it has an inside joke or two. Now, you might be saying, “Jeff, why would you go through the trouble of publicly posting inside jokes? Don’t you care about your readers?” Well, if there’s one thing I’ve learned from the comments section three days ago, it’s that I’m only doing this comic for myself, Thomas, John, Jared, Paul, and maaaaaybe Matt (these were the people who commented on the last comic).

If you’re wondering what I’m talking about, you should go back and read Tuesday’s news, then read the one before that, then... you know what? Just read all the newses (newsus? newss?).

You’re probably too lazy to look, so I’ll summarize by saying that I’m punishing my readers for no good reason. As a result, I’m not going to link to beta for the Don’t Hit Save search engine. I absolutely refuse to link to it. No one can try it out before I make it live. Not even you. That’s a shame, too. The search engine is going to incredibly helpful when looking for comic scripts, news items, or titles. You would’ve loved it.

Too bad. Tooooo bad.

That’s all for now. I’m a little flustered with work today and feeling more overwhelmed than usual. I should probably see what I can do about that. Because of this distraction, I may take another pass at the comic and/or the news a little later tonight. Look for secret edits!
