Hm… today seems like as good a day as any to plug a Halloween app I had been working on.

Looking for something quirky for your Halloween party? How about Eyebot, the augmented reality haunt enhancement app. Now available for Android and iPhone.

Sigh… my hair looks stupid.

This weekend, I received yet another lopsided pompadour haircut. It’s truly starting to feel like a Nashville thing. What is it with this town?

I’ve lived in Nashville for less than 2 years, and in that time, I’ve gone to 7 different hair stylists (some more than once), and received 7 different botched, asymmetrical haircuts. My appearance is rarely perfect, but I’ve never... [read more]

I saw Blade Runner 2049 this week.
(A spoiler-free discussion)

I knew the original film was old, but I had no idea I missed 2047 sequels.
(I never said it would be a good discussion)

I truly enjoyed this movie. I thought it was better than the original.

To be honest, I was never madly in love with the first one. I have many friends who are obsessed with that movie. The 1982 movie was visually stunning, and I appreciate how... [read more]

This wasn't the intended comic for the day. I had a nice, sweet interaction between me and my co-workers. But then Facebook posted their ever-so-sensitive video on the marvels of VR.

It's well worth watching. My favorite part is where the Mark Zuckerberg and Rachel Franklin's cartoon avatars... [read more]

It’s been a while since I’ve plugged a new comic, and I’ve been waiting to tell you about this one for quite some time…

Go read “Ow! My knees!” by Rich Owens

Rich is a guy I work with. I sometimes call him a close friend, but I’ll stick with “coworker” for now since I’m putting this in writing. As a coworker, he and I frequently collaborate, and those real-life workplace antics have been... [read more]

This week, I decided to take a break from the humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico, the rise of white nationalism, the mass shooting, and the sudden looming threat of nuclear war, by attending a funeral for a loved one. Good times.

I’m honestly a bit distracted by all these things (particularly that last one), so I’ll keep this brief:

If you’re like me, you were excited about the... [read more]

Hm… did I leave leftover Italian food in the car tonight?

Yes. Yes I did.

Am I far too sleepy to go get it?

Ask my garlic-scented car in the morning.

(if you think I won't still eat it, you don't know me very well)

Hey internet.

Here is the article I read describing the FCC’s solution to slow internet connections. It goes into a bit more detail than my 4 panels.

As mentioned in the comic, the FCC proposes to lower the minimum definition of broadband from the already embarrassingly low and archaic 25 Mbps down to 10. Way to think of the future, guys.

This is like “solving” rush hour traffic congestion by renaming dirt roads to... [read more]

Oh yeah, I’m bringing it up again.

If you’ve missed my blurbs on social media, and skipped everything I wrote on Tuesday, I am now running a Patreon campaign to grow this project.

If you like this comic (and you know you do), please consider throwing a few bucks my way. This is totally optional, but it will go a long way towards adding more content. ... [read more]

Hey, look at that! Don't Hit Save turned two yesterday. Where did my life just go?

I'm not sure if you figured out my subtle message in today's comic, but Don't Hit Save has (finally) launched its own Patreon campaign. Patreon, for those who are unfamiliar, is a way for creative artists and people like me to get paid for projects we're already producing. I'll go into more detail on Friday, but this seemed like a decent way for... [read more]
