You’ll be happy to know that I’m soda-free for more than a week.

This isn’t my longest amount of time without my liquid candy bars. I actually went without drinking any for more than a decade, but those days are long behind me. I’ve been socially drinking Mountain Dew for over a year, with a few sips of cola before that. I’ve decided to cut back for a while. This isn’t a big deal, nor is it for any particular reason, it’s merely something I felt like doing (I have to fill space in this news post somehow). I’ll probably change my mind by Friday’s comic.

Speaking of comics, you’re probably wondering whether I’ll talk about today’s comic. Do I have any brothers in real life? Are they handsome as me? Why am I asking questions in the first person?

I have answers to all of those questions and more, but that’s the kind of thing I would only address on the Ask Me Anything page... assuming anyone bothers to ask about it.

And in the off chance you did already ask me about that, I’d like to say that responses are coming soon to many of your emails, questions, and comments. Please be patient. March was hectic, April is turning into the same, but I am answering your questions/comments in the order in which they were received. I’m making it sound like I have a ton of messages, but it’s only a handful. I just have a lot of disdain for writing people back. Almost as much disdain as I have for writing the news. Almost.

Okay... it’s late, I’m sleepy, and I have no caffeine in my system to keep me awake. Good night!
