Sometimes, I write this news before the comic. It's usually when I'm out of ideas. I'll type something random in the sad, pathetic hopes that “thinking with my hands” will shake some ideas loose. When that doesn't work, I'll spend hours walking, pacing, showering, doing dishes… all to force an idea into my head. This technique occasionally works, but it's a bad day when I'm in that state of mind.

Today is not one of those days. I'm not sure why you would insinuate that it is. Stop asking if I have an idea for today's comic. I totally do.

So hello! Things are going well in Jeffland. I'm happy to report that, since the time change, I've somehow accidentally fallen into a productive routine. This certainly doesn't apply to the comic, but I'm getting a lot done, and still managing to sleep at night. I've done some app work and reorganized the home office. It's been nice. This trend has lasted since Saturday night. I'm feeling proud of myself for making it this far. Time will tell if I can keep it up through tonight.

When all this productivity is finished, I'd like to spend some time in April on something comic related… if you guys are good. What would be the biggest use of my time? New characters? New settings? Extended storyline? Some sort of animation?

Let me know what you guys want. I'll probably do the opposite, but it's nice to know what to avoid.
