I have to thank my wife for telling me the news about Amazon's new patent. At first, I didn't believe her (the key to a happy marriage is denying anything your spouse tells you). Sadly, though, she was right. AGAIN.

So the great mystery of this news is: has Amazon patented this technology to use it themselves, or to stop others from using it? I'll give you one guess as to which one I think (hint: I doubt it's a defensive move).

In other news, I've been reading The DC Comics Guide to Digitally Drawing Comics by Freddie E. Williams II. I'm about halfway through, but shocked by how many interesting tips and tricks I'm picking up in each chapter. As you know, I've been drawing traditionally and digitally for years now, and I've clearly reached a state of awe-inspiring perfection. But I'm finding that even a great master such as myself still has a little room to grow.

If you're at all interested in making your own comics, I highly recommend this book.

If you aren't, then I recommend you keep reading my news for possible future recommendations. I doubt I'll have all that many books to suggest, but I have to sucker people into reading this page somehow.
