This week, I decided to take a break from the humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico, the rise of white nationalism, the mass shooting, and the sudden looming threat of nuclear war, by attending a funeral for a loved one. Good times.
I’m honestly a bit distracted by all these things (particularly that last one), so I’ll keep this brief:
If you’re like me, you were excited about the SNES Classic’s release this past Friday. You also neglected to pre-order one (I’m guessing you thought your handsomeness would result in people throwing SNES Classics at your feet... this didn’t happen to me either).
These little Nintendo gaming systems are notoriously hard to find. Thankfully, there are still a few stores left that have the SNES Classic in stock. I tracked them down through istocknow.com (this is not an ad, just a recognition of a cool site). Unlike the NES Classic, I actually managed to grab one. Driving 13 hours home from a funeral had a way of taking me past more stores than most, but there are still a few Classics available in this and other countries.
If I can help one person play 25-year-old games, I’ve done my job.
Okay. That’s it. I'm distracted. Really. Bye.
