Don’t Hit Save will be switching to one comic a week starting next week. I have several stressors in my life that are impacting everything. Since this comic is a thing, it’s included in the word everything. I do not know how long that new schedule will last.

News Time:

Remember that skunk incident I mentioned last week?

Since that time, there has been a skunk explosion in my neighborhood (the figurative kind)

In my front yard: skunk
Down the street: skunk
Around the corner: skunk

I also saw an owl, a raccoon, a fox, and a deer. All in my neighborhood. Did I mention I live only a few miles from downtown? This is unusual. I'm not exactly surrounded by woods, where do these things sleep at night?

The first few skunk sightings were random happenstance, but now it’s an obsession. I had no idea there were so many living in my area. If I find myself driving at night, I will purposely turn down dark streets where skunks may be out and about.

For the last 4 nights, my wife and I have spent some time skunk spotting. This is clearly a very good idea.

Sure, they carry rabies and all sorts of parasites, but for creatures with built in weapons, they're surprisingly peaceful and downright adorable. You should definitely seek out your local skunk community. I know I have.

The only question is, what do I call my new hobby?

• Skuh-unking (pronounced like "spelunkling")
• Skunkfari

I can’t be the only one with this hobby. What do you call it when you do this?
