I don't know if this comic is accurate or not. It made me chuckle, so that's close enough.

So how are youze?

A few weeks back, I mentioned I'd start waking up earlier. I'm proud to say that I stuck with that trend. My days are much easier when I wake up early. I hate it, but it seems to give me more free time.

By shifting my activities to earlier in the day, this means I’ve been eating a heartier breakfast. More calories mean more energy. Sure, I’ve been eating a bit more than what should be healthy, but that’s the American way, right? (For those keeping track, the “American way” now includes: enjoying the tenure of a wannabe dictator, gently ignoring the fact that we run concentration camps, and eating awful but affordable food)

Sadly, with all these extra calories, I’m pretty sure I’ve begun to resemble a grape with toothpicks sticking out of it. From a distance, at least. Up close, I’m still the handsome work of art I’ve always claimed to be.

I may need to exercise soon.

In the meantime, you can find me in front of the computer, drowning in work. Instead of swimming up for air, I use the TV a a lifeline while I type.

Rather than distract myself too much, I’ve find great joy in rewatching old movies to see if my opinion has changed. Here’s what I watched since I last made a comic:

  • Starship Troopers (Oddly, muuuuch better than I remember. Who knew it was a satire?)
  • Blade II (Not nearly as good as I recalled. Although it was fun to see the black leather trench coats, sunglasses at night, and techno music used in so many films in the late 90s early 2000s)
  • The 13th Warrior (Not perfect, but still quite great. So many clever moments. Why does the internet hate it so?)

Disagree? Feel free to comment below. I need to go shove my face with more food.
