Happy Friday!
I hope you enjoy Jeff's drawing in today's comic. Who knew he was so artistic? I believe that last panel is the single most beautiful one to date.
Things are going well on my end. I'm finally wrapping a bunch of crap up that's been bogging me down all month. Soon, I'll be able to get back to South Park: The Stick of Truth.
I know that game is 2 or 3 years old. I picked it up over the summer and only recently started playing. I'm about 5 hours in, and I'm still not certain I like it. It's a masterfully done RPG with thousands of hidden South Park references. The script, sounds, and visuals are flawless. It truly feels like I'm watching and participating in an episode. The only problem is, I don't know if I'm that big a South Park or RPG fan.
This isn't a criticism. It's a time thing. South Park has its moments, and I dutifully watched the first several seasons. I merely drifted away from the show due to the demands of work and webcomic readers. As for RPGs-- I lack the patience for turn-based games.
The Stick of Truth is growing on me. I can't say it's for everyone, but I already got my money's worth. At the very least, I thoroughly enjoy being able to fart on my enemies. I can't remember if that's a part of the game, but I thought you should know.
That's about it for today. Be sure to join me next week for more harrowing tales of things I do to pass the time.
