Spring is in the air. The pollen is so thick, it looks like static.

You remember static, right? It’s something that old TV shows would show on TV screens as characters flipped through the TV channels. That’s what the air looks like here.

This is only my third spring in this area, but I don’t recall ever seeing so much yellow dust floating around. It’s quite pretty glinting in the sunlight.

I wonder if the people building houses down the street, the ones spraying all that paint, can see it. I’m sure they can. That’s probably why they’re wearing those thick masks.

I hope you’re enjoying your springtime. I know my sinuses are.
