Help You Help Me - The Sweepstakes!
I actually had a pretty overwhelming response to last year’s contest. Sadly, I could only choose one winner. This time, however, there will be one grand prize winner and three runner ups.
1 Grand prize: A full-body portrait PLUS a Don’t Hit Save t-shirt signed by me.
3 Runner ups: A drawing of your head.
Artwork will be sent digitally. No, I probably won’t add you to a comic. These drawings are meant for you, not me... but who know what you might convince me of.
How to Enter
Now this is where I stop doing this out of the goodness of my heart. I feel like there’s a discrepancy between the number of visitors this site gets and the number of sites that link to it. Sooooo....
Use my Contact Form or the Comments Section to tell me you want to enter the contest.
And/Or
Enter multiple times by promoting my comic.
- For every social media account you have that links to Don’t Hit Save, you will get ONE entry into the contest.
- For every website you can get to link to me, you will get THREE entries into the contest. Got a personal page? Mention my comic. Running a tech blog? Mention my comic.
- Get me mentioned on a podcast or YouTube? SIX entries.
- If you create and/or edit a Wikipedia entry on Don’t Hit Save (or get me mentioned by a reputable enough source to be used by Wikipedia), you will receive TEN entries into the contest.
Sadly, mentioning the comic in forums and comment sections does not count. I don't want you to create spam, I want to see legitimate reviews, suggestions, etc. where you mention Don’t Hit Save with a link to anything on donthitsave.com. They don’t even have to be positive reviews.
After you’ve posted something with a link, let me know where to find it by sending me a message through the contact form. Hell, send me a link to someone else’s site. I might not even check.
Oh, and because I know who butters my bread: Everyone who supports me on Patreon will be entered once for every dollar they contribute during the month of March.
The sweepstakes will run until March 31st 2019, with the winners chosen in April.
Edit on 2019-03-05: Because I've been asked for clarification: I will be looking at every post made to this site between 2019-02-22 and 2019-03-31. Any post to the comments section asking to enter the contest will qualify. It does not have to be below this particular comic. Note that posting to the comments section multiple times will still only enter you once. To enter multiple times, you'll have to follow the rules mentioned above.
