It’s been a weird week.
My dogs were attacked by an escaped pit bull, I went to a friendly community meeting that maaaaaaaaay have been run by a cult, and I’m finding myself super into tea after never liking it before.
I’m slightly unnerved by all of this. Especially that last one.
Before you ask: The dogs are slowly on the mend with scrapes, bite marks, and limps. For the moment, it looks like things could have been much worse. The questionably cult-like meeting was by invitation only. It seemed fine on the surface, but it set off some flags-- no one is that welcoming to strangers. Lastly, I have no clue how I developed a craving for mint tea after decades of despising leaf-based liquids. It freaks me out. I truly don’t wish to go into more detail... a lot of this is extremely fresh.
But listen, the week had some good moments, too.
I spoke with old friends, made some new ones, ate a very good taco. And hey! I discovered a new webcomic. Let’s talk about that.
Elder Cactus by Tim Lavoie is a dark, twisted comic about the world, crime, religion, and buttholes. It’s both crude and delightful. Not always at the same time. This insane author has been producing comics nearly every day since he started in September. Go read it.
Did you read it? Okay, good. Let's wrap this up:
When I’m not pulling dogs off my furry friends, I’ve been working further on an upcoming project.
That project is coming along nicely, and I'm extremely excited. You should see it one day.
Maybe you will.
Maybe.
