First thing’s first: Sources.
What good is an absolutely hilarious webcomic if it isn’t diligently citing sources?
- Panel 1 and 2 - A sordid tale of AT&T misleading customers.
- Panel 3 - I did the math myself, but the 153 million customers came from actual, tangible data.
- And hell, here’s a bonus article from earlier this month: AT&T switches customers to more expensive plans without asking them first
That good enough? Good. Let’s move on...
A dog update:
My dogs are on the mend after last week’s surprise loose dog attack. They continue to be a little limpy, a little scabby, but doing well for the most part. The other dog’s owner has been good so far and covered our vet bills. I’m still concerned about a number of things, but optimistic the dogs will be okay.
Thank you to everyone in the comments and for the personal messages I’ve received. It’s nice to know how many (both) of you care.
Project update #1:
The thing has been worked on. I will continue to work on that thing.
Project update #2:
Yeah. I’m doing another, somewhat related project. It’s been 3 years since I truly updated the look, feel, and functionality of this website, donthitsave.com. It’s time for an overhaul.
With a new decade coming up, it seems an appropriate time to revamp the website, clean up some code, and make it fit my needs even more. I’m not interested in using an existing CMS or template, I’m interested in making my own. I hand-coded this site a few years ago, and I have a few ideas for how I would do it better a second time. Most of my changes would focus on making the navigation a little easier between comics and scrolling.
The new website will be posted here some time in 2020. I’d like to make the finished site available to any other webcomics. Besides Don’t Hit Save, it’s possible I’ll even use the site on another project or something.
So, I have some questions for you, dear reader:
- What do you like/dislike about this website?
- How is the mobile experience for you?
- What do you find annoying about my website?
- Do you even care?
I should note that I am not accepting criticism of my comic at this time. There will be no improvements in quality of any kind.
Thanks.
