What Nightmares May Come

December 27, 2019 - News Post

Overhang greetings!

I say that when I take the dogs out for a walk, only to get stuck in the middle of unexpected torrential rain.

We're spending quality time in a parking lot at the moment, awaiting a break in the downpour. The dogs and I are cramped under a bit a roofing barely wider than my shoulders. A perfect time to break out the phone and start writing the week’s news.

First and foremost, my project is nearly ready. It’s been a long time coming. I think you may like it. There may even be some updates coming this week. We shall have to wait and see.

The new webcomic template is coming along, and should be ready in the next few months. I had hoped to make more progress on that this month, but computer fires have a nasty habit of delaying everyting.

For anyone who remotely cares about my computer issues: that desktop has seen some better days. I finally had a chance to pull everything apart. It appears my motherboard and CPU are done for, and I haven’t had a chance to properly test the GPU. My laptop is holding up well, but this has sloooooowed me down considerably. I do not recommend allowing your motherboard to catch on fire.

Aside from that, this week has been quite relaxing. Lots of time spent outdoors. Lots of breezy tropical weather. Typical winter stuff.

Okay, the rain is letting up. I’m going to go. The rain always lets up when I am nearing the end of my news.

See you in a few days.
