HI, I'm Jeff Lofvers. I have a web comic called Don't Hit Save. It's updated... Like, all the time.

As many of you know, I was sucked into a video game shortly after publishing that last comic. I intended to only visit for a few days, maybe build a utopian society with an AI clone of myself. Unfortunately, my AI duplicate immediately took me captive, forcing me to fight for my life in deadly gladiatorial games.

Obviously, we've all been there.

I won the tournaments hands down, escaped the arena with a ragtag group of fellow combatants, and aided the resistance in taking down my evil AI duplicate. It was a whole thing, and it took MONTHS.

They elected me their leader. And although I was tempted to live there forever, I knew I belonged here, making comics for you. I stayed just long enough to try all of their restaurants, and made my way back to the real world this morning.

I'd put that all in the comic, but I only have four panels to work with. Plus, I'd have to make new art, and I hate making new art.

The important part is that nothing bad happened. I mean, it's not like I was overworking to exhaustion and struggling to be jokey while the world burns. Can you even imagine?

It's good to be back. I missed some of you. Maybe I'll even see you again in a week or twelve.
