Two on time comics in a row? What is happening to me?!?

I'm as surprised as you are.

Speaking of surprises, I hope you like the continuation of the child-based format from last week. I think that's what everyone's been clamoring for all these years: more children. Why else would anyone read a technology-based comic with lots of office humor? I mean, no one's said anything wanting to see kids, but I'm pretty good at reading between the lines in the comment section.

Oh, and thank you to everyone who kept me entertained with their comments as of late. Especially while I was away, and especially Paul Clark. Without your public nagging, I doubt I would have started posting comics again for several more months.

You are all reluctantly appreciated.

See? I can sort of say nice things.

And hey, aside from a world that seems determined to kill itself, things are going fairly well on my end. I stopped trading sleep for work, I took a trip to see my 96-year-old granny, and the action figures I pre-ordered months ago have finally arrived.

These aren't small victories. I can't remember the last time I had enough hours in the day to catch up on life, do what's important, and allow my stress levels to go down. I barely recognize myself.

I feel healthy? happy? creative? And rested?

It's... pretty great. (Don't worry. I won't be getting too used to it. I know better.)

I hope all is well with you. If not, I hope you're ridiculously good at ignoring it.

See you sooner, later, or somewhere in between.
