Today’s comic is best viewed on the Apple Vision Pro. (There’s nothing special that happens on my site, I just assume that’s the best way to see it.)
As someone who has been working in the VR/AR/XR space for the last decade, I have been waiting a long time to see what Apple would bring to the table. I must say, I wasn’t disappointed.
Having been fortunate enough to give one of these a try, I was incredibly impressed with the fidelity and responsiveness. While the passthrough wasn’t quite perfect (likely a limitation of the cameras and not the screen), the view was good enough to be useful and productive inside of the headset for extended use. Any of the VR content or objects floating in 3d space were flawless and crystal clear. The app store was a little barren, but I expect to see a wide variety of productivity and creative apps in the near future. More thoughts on this to come after more use.
Oh, and hello! Welcome to my second comic is a row.

Honestly, a mostly normal year. Oddly busy, though.
Speaking of odd things being busy, I see you guys have all been commenting on my site all year round. I should probably check that more often. To everyone who inexplicably kept these comments alive while I was away: Thank you.
To everyone else: What were you doing that was so great?
