That’s the second time in six months I’ve watched smoke pour out of my self-built desktop. Much like the comic, it’s even less funny the second time. At least I got to reuse my smoke artwork.

I’m pretty sure the problem is a faulty power supply unit (PSU). As far as expenses go, it could be worse.

Last time something like this happened, it took six weeks and $1300 for all the parts to arrive. As of the time of this writing, I have called every single electronics store on this island, hunting for a PSU. I have found ONE unit that may fit my needs.

If you’re reading this, it means it worked. (If you aren’t reading this, then why am I writing it?)

Edit on 2020-05-22: Confession time. Although I dated this comic a week ago, I’m posting it today.

Technically, the comic and news were written on time, I just couldn’t do anything about it until now.
