I bought an analog clock this week.

I thought the ticking sound would be soothing.

And it was.

Quite soothing.

When I removed the battery.

	For today’s test, what did you write for 1 + 1 ?

	Two overlapping lines… an extra dark number one.
	I made one line, but twice as tall.

	And I explained that two lowercase L’s make a double "L" sound.

	They sure punish joy and creativity early in life, don’t they?
	No one likes a clever kid that isn’t their own.
