Sunny California greetings!

...is what I'd say if I was still there.

As of the writing of this news, I'm not sure what sort of comic I'll make today. The comic continues to lag behind my real life's events. I am employed, but I'm guessing today's comic is about me searching for work. I still have a few more tales to tell on that front. Not super funny tales, mind you, but enough to keep this site trudging along for another month. Maybe even two. I'll get things back on track soon enough.

So anyway...

I spent this past week traveling to California (see above), getting to know my new co-workers. My new employers got it in their head that I should come out and meet everyone, and meet them I did.

I had a blast, learned a lot, and did an almost passable job of not embarrassing myself. Oh, really quick before I forget: A very special hello to all my new friends and co-workers begrudgingly reading this:

hello.

(That's exclusively for them-- I do not have enough special hellos to pass around to everyone. Nor would I if I could.)

Okay. Glad we got that out of the way.

For now, I'm on the plane, making my way back home. It was a good trip. But I'm freaking exhausted. Meeting humans is hard work.

I'd say more... but I don't want to. My headphones died a paragraph or so ago. The screaming, coughing, maskless, full-volume tabletted children all around me are indicating it's time for a piercing migraine. No more writing for me.
